Ericsson and Crnogorski Telekom have agreed a seven-year managed services partnership, the Swedish vendor has announced. Under the terms of the contract Ericsson will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of Crnogorski Telekom’s network in Montenegro. The contract covers the operation and maintenance of telecommunications equipment and the entire network infrastructure, and includes the transfer of 91 experienced telecoms and IT experts from Crnogorski Telekom to Ericsson.
Crnogorski Telekom, part of Deutsche Telekom (DT) group, provides a full range of fixed, mobile and broadband services in Montenegro that are marketed under the ‘T’-brand. The company, which is listed on the Montenegro Stock Exchange (TECG), generated revenues of EUR104.6 million (USD114.7 million) in 2014.
