Huawei wins Cameroon MNP management contract

Cameroon’s telecoms regulator, the Agence de Regulation des Telecommunications (ART), has awarded a contract for the supply, installation and operation of a centralised database to manage the introduction of mobile number portability (MNP) to Chinese equipment supplier Huawei. CamerPost writes that the contract, which is valued at more than XAF1.5 billion (USD2.5 million), must be executed within a period of seven months.
