GO Malta launches new 500Mbps fibre service

19 May 2015

Malta’s GO has introduced a new 500Mbps service over its recently launched fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) networks. More than 17,000 homes in the Sliema, St Julian’s and Lija areas already have access to fibre connections, GO says, with 33,000 homes expected to be passed by the end of this year. Services will be extended nationwide over the next five years. The GO fibre 500Mbps internet plan is available as a standalone service and as an add-on to any GO Limitless Home Pack or Limitless Duo Pack Plan starting from EUR115 (USD131) per month in those areas which are already fibre enabled.
