French telecoms company Iliad Group has published its financial results for the three months ended 31 March 2015, reporting 7.0% annual growth in its consolidated revenues to EUR1.1 billion (USD1.2 billion), up from EUR1.0 billion in Q1 2014. The positive development was mainly attributed to sustained growth by the company’s mobile operations, which generated revenues of EUR437.9 million in the period under review, up by 18.5% from EUR369.6 million in 2013. Landline revenues meanwhile remained flat in the period under review, at EUR639.7 million.
In operational terms, the group’s total mobile customer base reached 10.525 million subscribers by 31 March 2015, with 420,000 net additions in the preceding three months. The number of broadband subscribers also increased, albeit more modestly, up 1.3% to 5.945 million by end-March 2015. Further, the company noted that quarterly broadband ARPU dropped slightly to EUR34.70, primarily due to the negative impact of promotional offers.
