Whole Crimea peninsula transferred to Russian dial codes

8 May 2015

The Russian-controlled, formerly Ukrainian, Crimean peninsula has now fully transferred to Russian telephone dialling codes, news agency Tass reported, citing government officials. The city of Sevastopol (within the peninsula) already started using its Russian long-distance dialling code of 869 in September 2014, while from May 2015 onwards the Republic of Crimea is using the 365 code.
