Bulgarian mobile operator Max (previously Max Telecom) has extended the footprint of its Long Term Evolution (LTE) network to the cities of Pernik and Blagoevgrad, located in the south-western part of the country. Following the expansion programme, LTE services with downlink speeds of 75Mbps are now available in 15 cities/resorts, namely Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Bourgas, Stara Zagora, Ruse, Sliven, Pleven, Bansko, Hisarya, Velingrad, Pernik, Blagoevgrad, Golden Sands and St. Constantine and Helena.
