Vodafone Iceland’s revenues, profit on the rise in 1Q15

Icelandic cellco Vodafone (Fjarskipti) has announced its financial results for the three months ended 31 March 2015, reporting revenues of ISK3.251 billion (USD24.9 million), up by 2% from the ISK3.173 billion generated in the corresponding period of 2014. EBITDA, meanwhile, increased by 13% year-on-year to ISK719 million in Q1 2015, while net profit reached ISK236 million in the period under review, a 75% improvement y-o-y on the ISK135 million reported at end-March 2014.
