Tele Columbus launches 400Mbps broadband in Potsdam

German cable network operator Tele Columbus has begun offering internet access at maximum download speeds of 400Mbps in Potsdam, the capital of the federal state of Brandenburg. The new high speed service is initially available to around 40,000 households in the city, but will be expanded to other regions in the future. Speeds of up to 400Mbps download and 10Mbps upload are offered as part of the dual-play ‘2er Kombi 400’ package, which is priced at EUR99.99 (EUR107.5) per month and includes a telephony flat rate for calls to German fixed lines. The minimum contract period is 24 months.
