The Slovakian government has confirmed the pricing range for its initial public offer (IPO) in national PTO Slovak Telekom, with the state hoping to raise up to EUR1 billion (USD1.1 billion) when it sells its 49% interest. The price range for the IPO has been set at EUR17.70-EUR23.60 per share, which values Telekom at between EUR1.5 billion and EUR2 billion. Deutsche Telekom (DT) has said it has no plans to offload any of its own 51% stake in the telco. The offer for retail investors is open from today (22 April) with the sale for institutional investors opening next week and running until 6 May. Shares will be listed in Bratislava and London.
