Orange Polska upgrades OSS with Ericsson

Ericsson has been contracted by the Polish fixed line and wireless operator Orange Polska to carry out an operations support system (OSS) transformation project. Under the six-year agreement Ericsson will supply Orange Polska with consulting and systems integration capabilities, as well as an OSS software suite which provides tools for network planning, inventory, fulfillment and assurance domain. Valter D’Avino, Head of Ericsson’s Western & Central Europe division, commented: ‘The OSS transformation gives Orange Polska the agility to optimize their operations and ensure improved end-user satisfaction.’ According to TeleGeography’s GlobalComms Database, Orange Polska, formerly known as Telekomunikacja Polska (TP), is 50.67%-owned by Orange Group of France and provides a full range of fixed and mobile services in Poland.
