GrameenPhone revamps mobile internet range

Bangladeshi mobile market leader GrameenPhone has revamped its mobile internet package range, with a new line-up of tariffs ranging from 4MB entry-level packs to 20GB packs for heavy data users. A 4MB pack costs BDT2 (USD0.025), valid for two days, while a 75MB pack, priced at BDT30, is valid for seven days. A 1GB pack with 28-day validity costs BDT275, while other 28-day packs include 250MB (BDT99) and 2GB (BDT350). A 20GB pack with 30-day validity is priced at BDT2,000. All packages include 3G and 2G network access, with mobile data speeds capped at 1Mbps except for the top-tier 20GB package, which has a speed limit of 2Mbps (in 3G coverage areas).
