TEOCO to improve TDC’s network performance

Danish telecoms operator TDC has selected TEOCO’s OPTIMA platform to improve the performance of its mobile network in the country. TDC is aiming to incorporate new network elements such as Long Term Evolution (LTE) radio and new core network elements into the updated OPTIMA platform. The rollout of the new solution began in August 2014, with the first part of the platform going live in early October 2014. According to a joint press release, the OPTIMA solution will allow TDC to reduce the costs of managing its mobile network, while also benefitting from a range of new features and functionalities, including enriched performance management data analysis via a harmonisation layer, intuitive web-based user interface, and ‘out-of-the-box’ network optimisation capabilities.
