Orange taps Ericsson for managed services in five markets

Ericsson has been chosen to provide managed services for five Orange Group subsidiaries in Europe. The vendor will manage operations and maintenance for Orange networks in Belgium, Moldova, Romania, Slovakia and Spain. The five-year contract includes network operation, network performance and optimisation, network expansion, field services and spare parts management. Together, the networks account for more than 30 million subscribers, with the Belgian subsidiary operating under the Mobistar brand and the remaining four operations using the Orange banner.
