Slovenia’s dominant fixed and mobile operator Telekom Slovenije has reported operating revenues of EUR764.9 million (USD868 million) for full year 2014, down from EUR799.2 million the year before. Meanwhile, net profit plunged 97%, from EUR51.1 million in 2013 to EUR1.6 million last year as a result of provisions for outstanding lawsuits to the tune of EUR43.6 million. EBITDA dropped from EUR239.9 million to EUR170.1 million. The firm, which is due to be privatised later this year, reported 1.12 million mobile customers in its home market, unchanged year-on-year, while the number of fixed telephony users dropped from 421,701 at end-2013 to 401,599 twelve months later. Its overseas operations in Macedonia, Bosnia and Kosovo claimed 1.19 million mobile subscribers at the end of 2014, up from 1.08 million a year before.
