Crnogorski Telekom connects 37,000 homes to FTTH network following EUR7.4m rollout

Montenegrin operator Crnogorski Telekom has announced that it has invested EUR7.4 million (USD8.4 million) in the deployment of its fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) network since 2009, and currently boasts 37,000 residential connections, all of whom are eligible for downlink transmission speeds of up to 100Mbps. The bulk of the connected homes (23,000) are said to be situated in capital Podgorica, with other subscribers situated in the likes of Budva (3,400), Bar (2,400) and Herceg Novi (2,000).
