Tele2 launches 4G connectivity for M2M

19 Feb 2015

Sweden-based Tele2 Group has announced the launch of 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) connectivity for Machine-to-Machine (M2M) and Internet of Things (IoT) implementations. The firm claims to be only the second operator worldwide to introduce 4G technology for M2M/IoT connections, with services available via Tele2 subsidiaries as well as roaming partners. It says the higher speeds, increased stability and improved response times offered by LTE will enable new usage scenarios such as CCTV with HD streaming, infotainment systems in cars, or connected advertisements.
