AT&T switches on GigaPower network in Kansas City

AT&T has switched on its ‘GigaPower’ 1Gbps fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) network in parts of Kansas City (Missouri) and in parts of Leawood, Lenexa, Olathe and Overland Park (Kansas), as well as in surrounding communities located throughout the metropolitan area. Going forward, the telco plans to expand the service to Independence (Missouri) and Shawnee (Kansas).

Following this week’s announcement, AT&T’s GigaPower network is now available in some parts of the following: Kansas City; Austin, Dallas and Fort Worth (all Texas); and Raleigh-Durham and Winston-Salem (both North Carolina).
