Telekom Austria Group has announced revenues of EUR4.018 billion (USD4.548 billion) for the twelve months ended 31 December 2014, a decrease of 4.0% from EUR4.184 billion the previous year. EBITDA totalled EUR1.286 billion in full year 2014, down 0.1% from EUR1.287 billion, with the company noting that strong performances in Belarus and the ‘additional markets segment’ only partly mitigated losses in Austria, Bulgaria and Croatia. In operational terms, as at 31 December 2014 Telekom Austria reported a total of 20.008 million mobile customers, down 0.5% from 20.117 million twelve months earlier, while total group fixed access lines rose 3.3% to 2.723 million. Telekom weathered its heaviest subscriber losses in its domestic market, where its wireless customer base contracted 5.1% y-o-y, contracting to 5.424 million.
