The telecoms unit of Danish utilities group Syd Energi (SE) has revealed it has adopted the Stofa brand for its business customer base. In October 2012 SE announced its acquisition of fixed line and broadband operator Stofa from Swedish private equity firm Ratos for an enterprise value of DKK1.9 billion (USD290.5 million), and all SE Telecom residential and private customers were migrated to the Stofa brand in January 2014 with its business and enterprise clients set to follow this month. SE said its telecoms subscriber base will not experience any changes to their contracts and terms of service, but revealed that in the future customers can expect new services as a result of the merger.
