29 Jan 2015

Mobile operator Zain Bahrain is poised to expand the capacity of its 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network ‘during the next few days’ reports Zawya, citing network director Hamad Al Rumaihi. He commented: ‘We are glad to announce another network expansion during the next few days, [which will see us] expand our 4G LTE network capacity by 30%, and enable us to continue delivering a superior quality of service (QoS) and customer experience for our growing customer base.’ The expansion is in line with a USD100 million network transformation programme put in place by Ericsson, which extends a 2G/3G/4G partnership initiated in October 2013.
