Reggefiber continues FTTH network expansion

Open-access fibre-optic broadband operator Reggefiber, wholly owned by Dutch incumbent telco KPN as of November 2014, intends to continue its fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) rollout this month, and will expand its network to the town of Warnsveld in the east of the country. According to Telecompaper, around 2,600 homes are to be connected, with the work beginning on 19 January. Reggefiber recently deployed FTTH connectivity to 3,500 homes in the De Leesten district of Zutphen, connecting its two millionth home on 19 December.
