Telefonica and Drillisch close yourfone deal

Telefonica Deutschland has announced that it has closed the transfer of yourfone, part of the E-Plus Group, to German telecoms company Drillisch. Under the deal, which was announced earlier in mid-November, Drillisch has acquired all trademark rights, approximately 235,000 active subscribers and staff in relation to yourfone. Telefonica became owner of Hamburg-based yourfone after buying E-Plus from Dutch firm KPN earlier this year. According to a press release, further disposals of the customer base from the joint portfolio of Telefonica Deutschland and E-Plus are not planned. In November Telefonica said it expected a purchase price in the medium to high double-digit million euro range.
