Belarus operator life :) holds prices for 2015

Mobile operator Belarusian Telecommunications Network (BeST life:)) has decided against upping its voice call and mobile internet prices for 2015, despite earlier indications it would follow rivals Velcom and MTS Belarus, which announced price rises from 1 September 2014. A press release from life:) stated: ‘The past days have shown a positive response from both existing and new customers. In this regard, and given the circumstances in the economy, the company has made a strategic decision to … cancel the increase in tariffs for some data services (i.e. internet) and voice services, which was scheduled for 19 and 25 January 2015 respectively.’
