24 Dec 2014

Ericsson and Spanish mobile network operator Yoigo, part of the TeliaSonera group, have updated and extended the managed services agreement to support Yoigo’s network for three more years. Ericsson will continue to provide tools, processes and teams to assure the performance of the mobile broadband network, regarding which Eduardo Taulet, CEO of Yoigo said: ‘The contract clearly defines the relationship between the parties and considers in more detail the activities required to offer to Yoigo´s customers best-in-class services. We can assure that we will concentrate our efforts in continued improvement together with our partner in the journey going forward.’ The Swedish vendor has been Yoigo’s exclusive mobile network managed services provider since launch in 2006, while also acting as a technology partner providing 2G/2.5G, 3G/3.5G and most recently 4G solutions in Spain.
