19 Dec 2014

TDS Telecom has confirmed that it has completed its expansion of 1Gbps broadband services to 19 communities across parts of New Hampshire, Wisconsin, Georgia and Tennessee. In order to help bring Gigabit broadband to as many communities as possible, TDS Telecom notes that it has deployed around 900 miles of new fibre this year and plans to deploy another 900 miles of fibre access in 2015. The telco, which is based in Wisconsin, inaugurated its first Gigabit-capable network in Hollis, New Hampshire, in May this year.
