China Telecom, the smallest of China’s three wireless providers, is set to expand its 4G hybrid network trial to a further 15 cities, bringing the total to 56. The cellco has received approval to extend its hybrid Time Division Long Term Evolution (TD-LTE)/Frequency Division (FD)-LTE network, and plans to add the following cities to the trial, namely: Shaoxing, Taizhou, Changzhou, Xuzhou, Yangzhou, Yancheng, Qingdao, Tangshan, Baoding, Dalian, Zhongshan, Huizhou, Jiangmen, Wuhu and Yulin.
