Meet TeleGeography at PTC15

17 Dec 2014

TeleGeography’s International Telecom Trends Workshop has become one of PTC’s most popular sessions. Now in its ninth year, the workshop will highlight TeleGeography’s latest findings on the global wholesale and enterprise networks markets.

Specific topics include:

Wholesale transport: Where is demand growing fastest? How does supply match demand? What is the outlook for new cable builds?

Internet traffic: Have growth rates plateaued? Are network upgrades keeping up with traffic growth?

Wholesale capacity and IP transit prices: Will price erosion ever end? What is the impact of new supply on price? What impact has 100G had?

Data centres and colocation: What is the outlook for the core data center markets? Are new regional hubs emerging? How do colocation prices compare across markets?

Enterprise services: How do the availability and price of enterprise VPN and Ethernet services vary geographically? How do local access prices differ, and how do they affect end-to-end service prices?

International voice: Traffic growth, revenue trends, and the impact of Skype

Workshop attendees will be the first to see TeleGeography’s 2015 Submarine Cable Map, which will be unveiled during the session. Each attendee will receive a complimentary folded copy.
