Numericable-SFR Group launches 800Mbps broadband in Paris

The newly merged Numericable-SFR Group has introduced fibre-optic broadband access with maximum download speeds of 800Mbps to around 500,000 homes in Paris, Boulogne-Bilancourt, Neuilly sur Seine, Levallois-Perret and Montreuil. According to a company press release, potential subscribers can sign up to the ‘Labox Family’ multi-play service, which bundles 800Mbps broadband access with unlimited calls to landlines and international calls to 100 countries, unlimited calls to mobiles, video-on-demand (VoD) functionality, pay-TV services (280 TV channels with 55 channels in HD) and an LG G Pad 8.0 tablet for EUR59.90 (USD74.04) per month.
