Algerie Telecom Mobile (Mobilis) has launched 3G services in six additional wilayas (provinces), in line with previously outlined plans to introduce third generation technology in 16 additional locations by the end of the year. Domestic newspaper La Tribune reports that the cellco now offers 3G services in Tamanrasset, Boumerdes, El Tarf, Medea, M’Sila and Souk Ahras, thus bringing the total number of provinces covered to 25.
