In the first nine months of 2014 the company posted consolidated profit of EUR38.7 million, compared to EUR147.1 million in the corresponding period of 2013; adjusted for the effects from the reduction of its stake in freenet, consolidated profit amounted to EUR38.2 million in 9M13. Last week Drillisch concluded a non-binding Letter of Intent (LoI) with Telefonica Deutschland via its subsidiary E-Plus Mobilfunk regarding the acquisition of all shares of yourfone, intended for January 2015. The purchase price is expected to be in the medium to high double-digit million euro range and is subject to approval from antirust bodies. Telefonica became owner of Hamburg-based yourfone, which currently has approximately 235,000 active customers, after buying E-Plus from Dutch firm KPN earlier this year.
