BringCom Incorporated, which describes itself as a leading telecommunications services provider offering fibre, satellite and microwave services to commercial and government customers in Africa, the Caribbean, the Middle East and the United States, has announced the establishment of a new point of presence (PoP) in the Republic of Djibouti. Business Wire reports that via a partnership with national PTO Djibouti Telecom, BringCom is launching a new Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) service providing connectivity to London and interfacing with the Global MPLS network to provide immediate access to BringCom’s worldwide customer base. The US-based company plans to expand its MPLS network by two additional PoPs in the US from the end of 2014, while from next year BringCom says it will also kick off the expansion of its so-called ‘Pan’ MPLS network.
