Movistar extends LTE network to 22 new cities

Colombian telecoms operator Movistar has switched on its Long Term Evolution (LTE) network in 22 new cities, Comunidad Ola reports, extending its overall 4G footprint to 76 cities across Colombia – comfortably exceeding the company’s initial targets. New locations covered are listed as follows: Apartado, Arauca, Moniquira, Florencia, San Martín, San Alberto, Montería, Facatativa, Fusagasuga, Girardot, La Mesa, Sopo, Tabio, Tenjo, Zipaquira, Gigante, Cumaral, Villavicencio, Tumaco, San Andres, Pereira, Dosquebradase and Ibaguese.
