Vodafone Red tariffs now offer 100Mbps LTE speeds

Vodafone Germany has begun offering LTE speeds of up to 100Mbps as part of its ‘Vodafone Red’ smartphone tariff range. The new plans offer flat rates for voice, SMS and MMS, as well as access to the 4G network with maximum speeds of 100Mbps for EUR39.99 (USD50.5) per month including a data allowance of 1.5GB, EUR49.99 (3GB) or EUR69.99 (8GB). At the same time, the UK-owned operator has boosted speeds of its ‘Smart’ tariff range up to 21Mbps, with plans priced at EUR12.99 (including 50 minutes, 200 SMS and 200MB), EUR19.99 (300 minutes, unlimited SMS and 300MB) and EUR29.99 (unlimited calls and texts, 500MB) per month. Vodafone has also announced that it has increased its LTE roaming partners by three to reach a total of 23, following the signing of new agreements with True Move (Thailand), Vodafone Czech Republic and VIP (Croatia).
