A study by Slovenia’s Statistics Office has found that 77% of all households accessed the internet in the first quarter of the year, with more than four-fifths of users saying they were online daily or almost every day. Moreover, 97% of households with children used the internet during the quarter, the report says. 49% of households accessed the internet via mobile broadband connections, up from 42% in the same period a year before. Slovenia was home to more than 550,000 fixed broadband internet subscribers at the end of June 2014, while the combined figure for fixed and/or mobile broadband is around 1.1 million.
