RCS&RDS shareholder offering 3.6% stake for USD76m

Sfetozar Bugarszki, an individual shareholder in Romanian cableco and leading broadband internet provider RCS&RDS, has offered for sale a 6% stake in holding company RCS Management, representing a 3.59% stake in RCS&RDS, for EUR60 million (USD76.1 million). If the transaction is completed at this price, it values the quadruple-play operator at EUR1.67 billion. The share sale was announced in Romanian financial publication ZF, which notes that Bugarszki was previously, but not currently, involved in the management of RCS&RDS.
