HKBN IPO to raise up to USD500m in 1H15

Fibre broadband triple-play provider Hong Kong Broadband Network (HKBN) plans to launch an initial public offering (IPO) in the first half of 2015 to raise up to USD500 million, reports Reuters, citing people with direct knowledge of the plans. HKBN, controlled by CVC Capital and the operator’s management, has issued a tender for banks to assist it in the IPO, with proposals to be submitted by the end of next week, the report adds.
