Ooredoo claims first 4G roaming for Qatari subscribers

Ooredoo Qatar has announced the launch of the first 4G LTE mobile data roaming service for Qatari subscribers travelling abroad. Ooredoo’s first 4G roaming partner is Mobily in Saudi Arabia, and plans are in place to add new partners in the coming weeks, Gulf Times reports. LTE roaming from Ooredoo Qatar – which is also the first service of its kind launched within the Ooredoo Group – is charged at existing standard international roaming rates.
