MegaFon, Beeline tap InfiNet for expansion

23 Sep 2014

Russian telecoms operators MegaFon and Beeline have selected InfiNet to deploy high-speed networks across Russia for their corporate clients, the vendor has confirmed. Following a competitive tendering process, both service providers have decided to work with InfiNet, which will now deliver a suite of voice-over-internet protocol (VoIP) telephony, internet access, virtual private networks (VPN) and video conferencing solutions for the two telcos. The vendor notes that it has pre-existing ties to Beeline and rival telco Mobile TeleSystems (MTS), but this contract represents its first tie-up with MegaFon.
