10 Sep 2014

The Polish cellco Polkomtel, which operates under the ‘Plus’ banner, has launched a new brand for the youth segment dubbed ‘Plush’. The new offering for the 16-24 year-old bracket offers a number of packages, including unlimited voice calls and texts, plus 500MB of data usage per month for PLN35 (USD10.76). The firm says introducing the new brand enables it to better target its marketing efforts and refine its product portfolio to win over younger customers. Polkomtel sits in third place in Poland’s wireless market claiming 24% of the country’s 57 million mobile subscribers at the end of June 2014, according to TeleGeography’s GlobalComms Database.
