Cambodia’s TRC slaps VoIP providers for non-payment of fees

The Telecommunication Regulator of Cambodia (TRC) has warned 15 domestic providers of voice-over-internet protocol (VoIP) services over their failure to pay their annual registration fees. In a statement published on 22 August and later reported by The Phnom Penh Post, the TRC has demanded that the firms involved – which include Hiway Telecom Cambodia, Cambodia Data Communication, DialAny Internet Telecom and WiCam Corporation – pay their 2013 fees by 30 August or have their VoIP access code dismissed and removed.
