The Indian government has issued show cause notices to several telcos for underreporting revenues, after the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) found discrepancies in their records, the Economic Times writes. Bharti Airtel, Vodafone, Idea Cellular, Tata TeleServices (TTSL) and Aircel all denied the allegations, telecom minister Ravi Shankar Prasad told parliament, adding that each has ‘claimed that their revenue details have been worked out keeping in view various court judgements and hence are in order.’
