Telekom Slovenije sale could complete by year-end

The government of Slovenia has announced plans to restart the privatisations of three state-owned firms, including the country’s dominant telco, Telekom Slovenije. Offers for a 75.58% stake in the operator had been invited earlier this year, with around ten firms reported to have expressed an interest. The sale was frozen last month, however, ahead of a general election, but the process is to be reignited, with completion expected before the end of the year.
