Beeline boosts Andijan network

24 Jul 2014

Beeline Uzbekistan, part of the Russian-owned Vimpelcom Group, has expanded its 2G and 3G networks in the Andijan region, UzDaily writes. The cellco has installed new base stations in Andijan, Markhamat and Asaka, whilst boosting capacity elsewhere to improve call quality in Sarvontepa, Aylana, Duian, Dilkushod, Hudzhaabad and Durmon. Beeline’s local regional director Sanjarbek Imino commented on the upgrade: ‘Andijan is a promising region with a large number of large corporate clients, open to innovation. Successful development of Beeline network allows us to face the future with confidence, justifying the subscribers’ trust.’
