The military-owned company, which has overseas operations in Cambodia, Laos, Haiti, Peru, Mozambique, Timor-Leste and Cameroon, said that its international business accounted for VND12 trillion of total revenue in 1H14. Commenting on further investment opportunities, Son said that Viettel is seeking to enter other African markets and is negotiating with partners in several countries including Tanzania, Kenya and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
