Altibox boosts customer base to 360,000

11 Jul 2014

Norwegian broadband provider Altibox, which provides triple-play superfast broadband internet, IPTV and voice-over-internet protocol (VoIP) telephony over its NOK2 billion (USD333.5 million) fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) network, has reportedly increased its subscriber base to 360,000. According to Inside Telecom, the operator, which is part of Lyse Energi Group, has added around 20,000 customers to its books since the start of this year, with the executive director of Lyse’s telecom business Toril Nag cited as saying that the growth could, in part, be attributed to its attractive fibre-based services in combination with an efficient partner model.
