Technology Networks, Sigma Systems ink agreement

Japan-based Technology Networks, which is set to merge its operations with parent company Jupiter Telecommunications (J:COM) on 1 July 2014, has signed a three-year licensing and support agreement with Canada-based operational support solutions provider Sigma Systems. According to a press release, the contract extends Sigma’s existing relationship with Technology Networks and ‘ensures its [internet service provider] and cable businesses can realise the full benefits of the Sigma Service Management Platform (SMP) products.’

Tim Spencer, president and CEO of Sigma Systems said; ‘We are pleased to be expanding our relationship with Technology Networks and J:COM following its recent acquisition of Japan Cablenet Limited (JCN) and to be helping J:COM to migrate JCN’s services to the Sigma solution.’
