Malaysian mobile network operator U Mobile has reportedly inked a deal under which it will lease tower site space from edotco, a local independent communication infrastructure solutions and services company. According to the Sun Daily, citing a press statement made by the cellco, U Mobile has claimed the deal will allow it to accelerate its network rollout while also improving customer experience. As per the ten-year contract, edotco will also provide power and site maintenance for the sites; no financial details of the deal were disclosed.
