SingTel Mobile has partnered Samsung and Ericsson to offer a fully-featured Voice-over-LTE (VoLTE) suite of services under the branding ‘4G ClearVoice’, claiming to offer faster call connection and clearer sound quality. In a press release Monday, SingTel Mobile said its new VoLTE service will offer a suite of telephony services such as call waiting and forwarding in addition to making voice calls – all on its 4G network. The carrier is making 4G ClearVoice available to existing Samsung Galaxy Note 3 users first via a software update, which the telco said would be pushed out progressively between 31 May and 1 June, it said. The VoLTE service is available at no extra cost for SingTel’s post-paid customers.
