13 May 2014

Vimpelcom group subsidiary Banglalink has announced the expansion of its commercial 3G W-CDMA/HSPA+ mobile services to the city and district of Rangpur in the north of Bangladesh. Banglalink launched its 2100MHz network in October 2013 in Dhaka and Chittagong before expanding across these two cities plus four other divisional capitals, Sylhet, Khulna, Rajshahi and Barisal, plus other cities in the Dhaka division, ahead of this week’s completion of the seven-divisional headquarter footprint.
