Al-Jazeera Telecom taps Exalt for backhaul systems

Baghdad-based Al-Jazeera Telecom has enlisted Exalt Communications to deploy its Exalt ExtremeAir all-outdoor microwave backhaul system over a 35km segment of its network. The new infrastructure will enable the telco to provide Gigabit connectivity over its core internet network. Founded in 2004, Al-Jazeera primarily serves business customers via a combination of fibre, copper and wireless technologies.
